We had fun at the Pavilion and Clay Farm Centre summer events, despite the baking hot weather – possibly a distant memory by the time you read this! We are quite excited about some of our workshops this autumn – making a blouse from a man’s shirt is a great upcycling challenge and the crochet Hexi-Cardi became quite a craze in the group, everybody’s wearing them this autumn! Our latest workshop flyer is shown above.
Do email to book a place, or if there is a workshop you would like us to run, let us know and we will do our best. We can book individuals for beginners knitting and crochet, best done one to one, so see details on the flyer for that too. Both the Monday and Tuesday meetings continue to thrive and welcome new stitchers - beginners and experienced, male and female, of all ages. Do pop in if you want to see what we do.
Our Monday evening meetings are from 7-9pm at the Pavilion (charge £3.50) and the Stitching for Charity group is at the Clay Farm library on Tuesdays 10.30am-12 noon (no charge). Feel free to drop in to either, you will be warmly welcomed. Email our Chair Dana at trumpingtonstitchers@gmail.com More information is on our website www.trumpingtonstitchers.net
