Trumpington Kids Clothes Hub

That was a very long, hot summer! Cooler days are with us now and the children are settling in to a new school year. Hopefully, some of those children are enjoying wearing school uniform that has been loved and shared. Certainly, the school uniform rails at Clay Farm Library were very popular! Trumpington Kids Clothes Hub is back in full flow and, having been closed for donations during the school summer holidays, we have been catching up with sorting and folding the small mountain of clothing that our generous community has passed on for other families to make use of.

We have Free Children’s Clothes events planned for Saturday, 17 October at Trumpington Sport, Trumpington Community College and Saturday, 14 November at Trumpington Village Hall. Please do come along and find some pre-loved clothes, waiting to be loved again! Bring a friend or two! We are also delighted to accept donations at these events. Keep a close eye on our social media, for details of regular events and any extra news items.

Remember, all our clothes are free to anyone who can use them and, as well as helping our local community, there is a lot less being sent to landfill, so that’s good news all round. Thanks so much to all our supporters and sponsors, who enable us to continue offering our services to local families. We really couldn’t do it without you. If you would like to sponsor one of our events, please do get in touch; we would be delighted to hear from you.

Remember, if you can’t make it to a pop-up, we will gladly pack a box of clothes for you to collect. Just fill in a form online at www.trumpingtonkidsclotheshub.co.uk

Both October and November Free Children’s Clothes events run from 10.30am to noon. The printed flyer has the full venue details.
