The Clay Farm Centre
After a very busy summer with events and the Summer Reading Challenge, things are getting back to normal at Clay Farm. Our regular classes of yoga, Pilates, kids coding sessions from The Code Zone, Bright Moves baby movement sessions, chess classes from Chess4Rookies, and dance classes from Target Dance are all back at Clay Farm. All children who completed the Summer Reading Challenge were invited to attend the Awards Ceremony on Monday 14 September.
If you were unable to attend, children can collect their medal and certificate from the Clay Farm library reception desk afterwards. In October half term we have a holiday lunch event on Wednesday 28 October. From 10.30am to midday there will be activities in the hall including Lego and crafts; from midday to 1pm we’ll be serving a free lunch supplied by Cambridge Sustainable Food. Our Spooky Halloween Disco is back again too.
On Friday 30 October there will be two discos, one at 4.15pm for children 5 and under, and the second at 6.15pm aimed for 6–11-year-olds. Children’s tickets cost £1 each (an adult goes free per ticket) and tickets are on sale at the Clay Farm library reception desk from Monday 5 October.
