The Clay Farm Centre

Summer is here and we’ve got a lot to keep us busy at the Clay Farm Centre with holiday lunches, reading challenges, and so much more!

We’re also hosting two free Coding Taster Sessions on Friday 21 August.

Our final holiday lunch event of the summer is on Monday 24 August.

The Summer Reading Challenge is in full swing! Children aged 4-11 can still sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge. We hope they’ve already been reading books and collecting stickers. The aim of the SRC is for children to read at least six books during the summer holidays and, if they succeed, they’ll receive a certificate and medal in an Awards Ceremony on Monday 14 September.

You can now borrow blood pressure monitors (BPM) by using your library card at the Clay Farm Centre library and other libraries across Cambridgeshire. Any library member aged 18 or over can borrow a monitor for three weeks, or five weeks from our mobile library. It’s free, and you don’t need a GP referral. To borrow a monitor, speak to a member of staff.

For more information about the Centre and our regular events, visit our social media pages. You can find us on Facebook or on the City Council website: cambridge.gov.uk/clay-farm-centre.

Clay Farm is a great venue to hire if you’re looking to host an event or party. For more information email ClayFarmCentre@cambridge.gov.uk.
