Trumpington Brownies

Towards the end of the summer term, the Brownies had a ‘bring a friend’ night where they invited along someone they thought would enjoy Brownies. Everyone got stuck into panda-themed activities, games and crafts and earnt themselves a panda badge. In the last few weeks of term, the Brownies also enjoyed completing a challenge badge about Kenya, which incorporated making necklaces, and a campfire with shelter building, singing (including the now favourite pirate song!) and s’mores.

Unfortunately, the last week of term was far too hot for the planned ice-cream hike, so the Brownies met indoors and learnt map skills. They didn’t miss out on the ice-cream and somehow managed to polish off a considerable amount! The autumn term will include working towards the Take Action theme from Girlguiding’s programme for Brownies. We have spaces for girls aged 7-10 years and would love to welcome some new Brownies.
