Clay Farm Community Garden
Spring at last brought warmer weather: cowslips appeared on the lawn, and flowers and trees bloomed and blossomed; the Thursday food trucks are coming regularly; take a break; sit and enjoy the fresh air and scenery at our roomy table in the East Garden.
SOS from your Community Garden
The grass is growing apace, and drier weather means some parts of the Garden need watering and mowing regularly. Any volunteers to take a turn at mowing and strimming the lawns or joining the watering team when needed would be very welcome. Many hands will make light work!
The Garden is fully volunteer run with no funding from any source. Come along and help us; chat to your neighbours, grab a cuppa, make a difference. We don’t just garden, we need people to help organise events and other non-gardening activities. A “community” needs everyone to join in.
Our regular meet up is on Thursday morning, but once you join the group you can say when you have time to come along and find out when other volunteers will be there.
Please get in touch on info@clayfarmgarden.org and ask to join our Working Hands WhatsApp group.
