Both the Monday and Tuesday meetings continue to thrive and welcome new stitchers - beginners and experienced, male and female, of all ages. Do pop in if you want to see what we do.
Last term we skipped workshops in favour of giving people individual support to learn or improve their knitting and crochet skills. We are going to continue this alongside our usual Workshop programme, and details of how to book for both are on the latest flyer.
For now, we are still taking bookings by email, but please note the address has changed. We will soon be moving to an online booking and payment system but will ensure that those unable to easily use online systems can book off-line.
We are still looking for a volunteer to become our Workshops Coordinator. If you would like to know more, please contact our Chair, Dana, on trumpingtonstitchers@gmail.com. It’s not onerous and it’s quite fun to plan with tutors what we can offer next.
We are very pleased to welcome a new Treasurer, Lizzie, who joins us via the Volunteer Cambs website. Worth trying if you need volunteers or are looking for opportunities.
Our Monday evening meetings continue from 7-9pm at the Pavilion, charge £3.50, and the Stitching for Charity group is ever expanding at the Clay Farm library on Tuesdays 10.30-12 noon, no charge. Feel free to drop in to either, you will be warmly welcomed.
