Trumpington Local History Group

Our next meeting is on Thursday 7 May at 7pm, in Trumpington Parish Church, 1a Grantchester Road, CB2 9LH.

David Newcombe will talk on religion in the pre-Reformation period and how this changed after the Reformation, with particular reference to the vicars of Trumpington and how their theological beliefs impacted on parishioners. Edmund Brookes will then show surviving evidence within the church of how religious practices had changed following the Reformation and also give details of the proposed renovations / alterations to the church. All welcome, no charge.
